FARAH (BNA) Three people were arrested in case of abducting Dr. Fawad Pirzad in Farah province.
The three reportedly fled to Farah after abducting Dr. Pirzad in Kabul and hid in Farah Ruad’s district.
The head of Farah’s media office, in contact with BNA, confirmed the arrest of the three persons in connection with the abduction of Dr. Pirzad.
He said two of them were transferred to Kabul for further investigation.
Sheikh Ahmad, Qari Abdul Ghafoor and Qari Sultan were arrested late yesterday in a special operation by Farah intelligence agents from Farah Ruad’s district of the province.
Dr. Fawad Pirzad is one of the expert specialist neurosurgeons in Afghanistan.
He was abducted some time ago in Kabul and is still being held by the kidnappers.
The intelligence officials of the Islamic Emirate are talking about the efforts to get rescues of this doctor of medicine.
