Taliban Storm Ghazni Jail, Free Hundreds Inmates

Ghazni (BNA) Hundreds of inmates have fled from the prison, when a group of Taliban militants stormed on Ghazni province jail last night.
Mohammad Ali Ahmadi deputy governor of Ghazni said BNA correspondent, the militants first detonated a car type of “corolla” in front of the entrance gate of the prison and six other militants, who wearing military uniforms entered to the jail.
According to the source, the attackers with broken jail locks had escaped 352 inmates including criminal and political culprits.
Ahmadi further added, at the same time insurgents launched several attacks, explosions in various parts of the province and kept busy Afghan security forces.
It has been said; now 80 inmates remained in the jail, while the building of the prison has been completely destroyed.
Ahamdi declared, 4 Afghan security forces were martyred and seven others were injured in clashes with Taliban fighters.
Also the bodies of 4 attackers remained on the battlefield.
Khaliq Dad Akbari head of provincial council of Ghazni province says, investigation has started in this regard.
