ANA Operations Leaves 189 Insurgents Dead: MoD

Kabul (BNA) 189 Taliban militants including their notorious commander were killed following military operations, recently conducted by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces across the country.
Ministry of Defense (MoD) press office in a statement stated BNA, the clearance operations were launched aiming to eliminate the rebels in various parts of Paktia, Faryab, Urozgan, Helmand, Logar, Kandahar, Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz and Kabul provinces, in which 189 Taliban militants including Mullah Khaksar a top notorious commander of the group, three shadow district governors of terrorists network and 9 foreigners nationals were killed, 88 insurgents were wounded and 9 others were arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been seized at the end of the operations by ANA personnel.
According to another report, 13 Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred during their routine duties in different parts of the country.
