Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces have recaptured Yamgan District of Badakhshan province from militants.
Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said that security forces entered to Yamgan district and took full control of the district this morning.
The district was under Taliban control for about two weeks.
Sediq Sediqi said 120 insurgents including six commanders of them have been killed during the operations.
