Kabul (BNA) About 7 Taliban insurgents including their local commander were killed following clashes with Afghan security forces in Lal-Poor district, eastern Nangarhar province last night.
The clashes occurred, while a group of Taliban militants wanted to storm resident houses in Lal-Poor district of the province.
A senior commander of border police in the east of the country said BNA, seven militants including their local commander were killed.
So far Taliban militants said nothing about the incident.
According to another report, 15 Taliban militants were killed and another was wounded by Afghan security forces during their security activities in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Logar and Ghazni provinces.
