Kabul (BNA) Dr. Raheen, Minister of Information and Culture in his message released on the eve of 95th anniversary of Afghanistan’s Independence Day congratulates the precious day to His Excellency President Hamid Karzai, Vice Presidents, Chairmen and Members of both Chambers of the Parliament, Cabinet Members, Chief Justice, Attorney General, families of martyrs and disabled, Afghan refugees living abroad and the whole countrymen.
Exactly 95 years ago our brave ancestors under the leadership of King Amanullah Khan Ghazi stood against the mighty forces of the Britain and obtained the country’s freedom.
In the course of history, our country has been invaded several times but the brave people of this land each time by shedding their bloods defended their freedom.
Dr. Raheen, besides congratulating the Independence Day to the countrymen also wishes eternal peace for the Mujahiddeen and Ghazis who had fought for the country’s independence and also hoped that the people of Afghanistan like their ancestors to foil the enemies’ conspiracies and safeguard the country’s independence, freedom and development process.
