Kunuz City (BNA) Afghan security forces succeeded to retake the control of district building, security command and other parts of Bazaar Qala Zaal district, northern Kunduz province from Taliban militants this morning.
A commander of National Army in Kunduz said BNA correspondent, the security and governmental installations have recaptured by Afghan security forces during a special operation.
Taliban militants suffered heavy losses during the operation and their bodies remained in the battlefield as well, the source added.
It has been said, the operation will continue until the mentioned district completely clear from being of armed rebels.
According to another report, Afghan National Army forces have been discovered and neutralized two rounds of mines from Khan Abad district of Kunduz province.
The mines have been planted by Taliban militants on highway of the district and discovered by military personnel with cooperation of local people.
