No Interferences Allowed In Elections, Faizi

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan government says all efforts are underway for prevention of any foreign and internal interference during the upcoming Presidential elections.
VOA has reported that Eimal Faizi, spokesman to Afghanistan president in a news conference in Kabul commented on US former secretary of defense Robert Gates’ memos.
Gates in his new book has said Obama administration had wanted to interfere in Afghanistan previous elections held in 2009 and work for dismissing the elected president of an independent country.
In the news conference, Faizi said Obama administration by following the efforts had questioned US values and commitment for restoration of democracy in Afghanistan.
He added US officials had also affronted the will and democratic right of more than a million Afghans.
Suzan Rice, US national security advisor in her recent visit to Kabul stressed on supporting a transparent elections in Afghanistan. Mrs. Rice said Washington would never support any presidential nominees in the elections.
Related to roots of tensions between Kabul and Washington, Spokesperson to president said the main reasons of the tensions were discrepancy of President Hamid Karzai with US over various issues in particular Afghan innocent casualties by US forces raids in Afghanistan.
He considered keeping Afghan prisoners in US prisons and counter terrorism in Afghanistan as other reasons of the tensions.
Spokesperson to the President said in consideration to the previous experiences, President Hamid Karzai had considered practical support from peace process and stoppage of US forces raids on Afghan villages as conditions for signing BSA between Kabul and Washington.
