26 Armed Oppositions Kills ANSF Operations

Kabul (BNA) At least 20 Taliban militants were killed following several cleansing operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) during the last 24 hours in different parts of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office spokesman in a statement told BNA, the operations were conducted in relevant areas of Ghazni, Paktia, Nimroz and Nangarhar provinces, in which 20 armed rebels were killed and several others wounded following the operations.
Two Afghan security forces were martyred at the end of the operations, source added.
According to another report, six armed oppositions were killed in clashes with Afghan security forces in Faryab province.
The clashes occurred, while a group of the militants attacked on security convey in Maimana city center of the province.
A security official in the province said BNA, six armed oppositions were killed and another was wounded at the end of the clashes.
Also Afghan security forces discovered and defused 31 rounds of mines, placed by enemies of Afghanistan for destructive and terrorist activities in nationwide of the country.
Also 31 rounds of mines have been seized and discovered by Afghan security forces during the operations, source added.
