Lashkarga (BNA) Five armed Taliban militants were killed in an air strike in Helmand last night.
The militants were targeted by security forces air strike following attack of them on security checkpoints in Marja District.
Maiwand army corps media office in south of country with releasing a statement said, in the raid, a local commander of Taliban with his four colleagues were killed.
According to the army corps, the assailants were targeted after attack on security checkpoints in the mentioned district.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
