Khost (BNA) Unidentified Gunmen attacked a local journalist Sultan Mahmoud Khairkhwa in Khost which caused his injury, BNA reportedly is the other day.
Khost provincial governor press office said the journalist was shifted to a hospital for treatment, but his health condition has been reported to be concerning, the agency added.
Leadership of the Ministry for Information and Culture (MoIC) while condemning the attack in the strongest possible terms said such acts were carried out by those who are the enemy of freedom of speech and democracy.
Praying for his immediate recovery, the ministry asks security entities to spare no effort in ensuring security of media staff and journalists.
