Jalalabad (BNA) Dozens of regions in Shirzad District, Nangahrar province were cleanup from insurgents in a clearing operation conducted by security troops.
Likewise, the security troops in recent action, discovered and neutralized mines planted by Taliban in pars of Shirzad District and prevented from a series of deadly blasts.
The operation started since ten days with attendance of hundreds of militaries police forces and with support of air forces in parts of the mentioned district and continues there.
ANA key commander in east of the country told BNA, during the operation, tens of regions were cleared from insurgents and militaries managed to discover tens mines in the areas.
Most of the terrorists fled to Pakistan for fear of the militaries.
Residents of the mentioned district welcome anti-terror operations in their areas and said, they could easily resume their normal lives with the military.
