Commander of Taliban Killed in Kandahar

KANDAHAR (BNA) A leader of Taliban militants was killed and another rebel was wounded following an operation led by Afghan security forces in southern Kandahar province.
Col. Mohammad Muhssan Sultani in-charge of publication in 205 Atal National Corps said BNA, the operation was launched in relevant areas of Chapa Garmabak region, Maiwand district of the province, in which a notorious commander of Taliban was killed another insurgent was wounded.
Also 20 rounds of different types of mines have been discovered and neutralized by Afghans security forces following the operation, the source added.
