NSC Sacks Paktika Governor

Kabul (BNA) The National Security Council (NSC) with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair held meeting yesterday during which the country’s security situation was reviewed.
At the outset of the meeting, those at the helm of security apparatus presented their reports about the capacities of the national security forces and activating the center for coordination. Presenting his report, the minister of interior, Noorul Haq Uloomi said that the fact finding mission had found no evidence to prove the allegations leveled by Paktika governor against national security in backing Daesh families and therefore it was decided to fire the governor from office. After reviewing the security situation in Kunduz, Ghazni, Badakhshan and Zabul provinces the NSC issued necessary directives to security and defense officials.
