GARDIZ CITY (BNA) At least two Afghan National Army (ANA) personnel lost their lives and three more were wounded following Taliban attack in eastern Paktia province.
The incident took place, while dozens Taliban fighters storm on Afghan security forces’ checkpoint in relevant areas of Gardiz city the provincial capital of the province late on Wednesday.
Thander army corps by releasing a statement confirmed the incident reported that two Afghan security troops lost their lives and three others were injured.
Taliban fighters also sustained losses, but the exact number is not clear, the statement added.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
