VP Stresses On Expansion of Relations Between Afghanistan, China

Kabul (BNA) Sarwar Danesh, Second Vice President, met Wednesday with Chinese ambassador to Kabul and discussed modality of further expansion of relations between Afghanistan and China.
In the meeting, Danesh said the two countries were close from point of not only geographic but also historic, political, security, cultural, economic and social.
He recalled that Afghanistan government was not skeptical for addressing challenges that harms expansion process of mutual relations between the two countries.
Expressing happiness over holding tripartite negotiations held and hosted recently by China, second vice president said Afghanistan government welcomed the role which would be given to Afghanistan in key economic program in the region including big initiative one belt, one route’.
Sarwar Danesh considered the big initiative of one belt, one route’ as significant for expansion of economic development in the region as well as strengthening of relations between the two countries, adding that the initiative could further expand economic cooperation in the region.
Hinting that a suggestive packages of China’s assistance to the people of Afghanistan would be soon delivered.
Danesh said it was hoped that priorities of Afghanistan government in connection with economic and infrastructures’ development would be further paid into consideration in the suggestive package.
In the meeting, the Chinese ambassador to Kabul while pointing to communities’ of the people of both countries in historic, cultural, economic, political and security stressed on expansion and strengthening of mutual relations between Afghanistan and China.
