Kabul (BNA) Under a decree from the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Abdul Ahad Wahidi was appointed as the Acting Kabul Mayor, BNA reported Tuesday.
According to the agency, the newly appointed acting mayor was advised to refrain and revers any dismissal and appointments during his responsibility. According to another report, Abdul Ali Shamsi was appointed as the acting deputy governor for the southern Kandahar province.
