Sculptor Grants 12 Relics To National Archive

Kabul (BNA) A sculptor and lecturer at Kabul University Prof. Amanullah Haidarzada granted the other day his 12 relics to National Archive. 
The relics are medals in which statues of former kings and famous cultural and academic are engraved. An official of National Archive, Masouma Nazari told BNA the relics were a significant part of the country’s history and considered them as valuable for those university students and researchers researching about Afghanistan’s history.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, Masouma Nazari while appreciating Haidarzada considered granting the relics as significant and valuable for richness of the archive. 
In the ceremony, Prof. Amanullah Haidarzada criticized current condition of sculpturing art in the country, saying that the art has not developed in recent years due to prejudices. He asked the relevant officials for serious consideration to development of the art.  It is worth mentioning that Prof. Amanullah Haidarzada, receiving his master degree in fine arts from New York University. He is among the country’s famous sculptors and founder of the Fine Arts Faculty of Kabul University.
