Kabul (BNA) In operation conducted by National army forces twelve insurgents were killed in Helmand province.
Abdul Ahad Chopan spokesperson of Helmand police chief told BNA, National army forces launched an operation in relevant areas of Nawa district, Helmand province, as a result of which twelve militants were killed.
The Source added, the operation aimed to eliminate armed rebels in the area.
A Kalashnikov, a rocket launcher and some ammunition have been seized in the operation.
