Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours security forces conducting a series of operations killed 14 armed insurgents in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Interior press office said BNA, the operations conducted in relevant areas of Kandahar, Urozgan, Maidan-Wardak, Ghazni, Farah and Helmand provinces as a result of which 14 armed rebels were killed, another wounded and 18 others arrested.
The Security forces claimed that they have seized in amount of heavy and light weapons in the operations.
Also National police forces discovered and defused 10 mines in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Faryab, Urozgan and Herat provinces in this way prevented bloodshed there.
