Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Deputy Minister of Publication Affairs for Information and Culture Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi, the session of commission on public awareness of counter Improvised Explosives Devices (IED) national strategy was held yesterday here in Kabul.
In the session held with participation of representatives of MoIC, MoI, MoE, MAIL and MoH, deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture asserted that 85% of the people’s casualties were caused by IED’s explosion and the commission has been created based on decree of President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Mustafavi added that relevant organs, members of the commission were tasked to aware the people of harms of the IEDs through their organs.
Meanwhile, representatives of the respective ministries delivered the session their relevant organs’ reports and activities in connection with public awareness of harms and dangers of IEDs.
