Kabul (BNA) At least 7 armed insurgents were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
A commander of Afghan national army told BNA, in the battle 7 armed rebels including their local commander were killed.
He added, Taliban wanted to launch attack on security posts that targeted by Afghan security forces.
It has been said, there were no casualties suffered among civilians and Afghan troops in the clashes.
