Kabul (BNA) Minister of Foreign, Salahuddin Rabbani held yesterday a courtesy meeting with Bulgarian ambassador to Kabul, Nikolay Yankov, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
At the outset, Mr. Yankov expressed glad on his mission to Afghanistan, adding ‘I’m proud to have worked on expansion of relations between Afghanistan and Bulgaria for four years, as friendship between the two countries has historical background,’ the report further said.
Expressing glad on improvements in different fields, Mr. Yankov assured of his country’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan and asked for establishment of economy ties between the two countries, the report added.
Afterward, Foreign Minister Rabbani appreciated Mr. Yankov for his efforts in expansion of relations between the two countries and thanked Bulgaria’s cooperation with Afghanistan in different areas.
