Consultative Meeting For Peace Should Be Held In Afghanistan

Tuesday, December 25, 2012
Kabul (BNA) The media reports on supporting consultative meetings without consensus and coordination of the government of Afghanistan is useless.
The ministry of foreign affairs is strongly repeated that any consultative intra-Afghan meeting on the peace process in Afghanistan should have the consent of the government of Afghanistan and be held inside the country.
It has merit to mention that formal and direct talks between the government of Afghanistan and Taliban can be held outside the country through official process, including opening Taliban office in Qatar.
