Sar-e-Pul (BNA) Mullah Saif-u-Rehman, director of Martyrs and Disabled of Sar-e-Pul Province, said in an interview with BNA, “After Taking control of power by Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the department starts processing of identifying and assessment of the sufferers and the disabled of the previous government including martyrs of Islamic Emirate along with disabled and in this process 4609 disabled and heirs of the military and civilian sufferers of the previous government are to be evaluated and their salaries would be paid in accordance with the procedure of the Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled.
He added that after the fall of the previous regime, the department has assists 13 civilian families affected by the war in financially support of BLUMONT Institute, which the assistance included flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, chickpeas, beans, tea, and ancillary kits, including poultry farms and livestock.
The Director of Martyrs and Disabled of Sar-e-Pul recently asked national and international aid organizations for more assistance for the disabled and the families of the martyrs.
