Kabul (BNA) Over 23 armed rebels were killed and 26 others were wounded during military operations led by Afghan security personnel within the last 24 hours in Northern provinces.
Ministry of National Defense press office reported BNA, the operations were conducted to annihilate armed oppositions and protect the lives and properties of people in various parts of Kunduz, Faryab and Baghlan provinces.
Seven rounds of different types of mines have been discovered and defused during the operations as well.
Some heavy and light weapons, military mobilizations and war equipment have been seized following the operations, the source added.
