Prof. Bawari Meets Head of Russia Federative Cultural Center

Kabul (BNA) Prof. Mohammad Rassoul Bawari, acting minister of information and culture in a meeting with the Russia Federative Head of Cultural Center spoke about the Afghan delegation tour in the youth festival expected to leave for Russia, BNA reported other day.
Head of the delegation provided details about the visit of the youth festival expected to be held in Sochi city of the Russia on October 14 of current year, said the agency.
Both sides also discussed the way on how the Afghan delegation could attend the festival in that country, said the agency.
The Afghan delegation with 80 members, led by Hazratullah Sharifi, head of coordination of the programs of the ministry of information and culture on youth affairs, would attend the festival, said the source.
According to another report, the acting minister also spoke about the work process of consolidation of the Bamyan Buddha giant statues in a meeting with the related officials, BNA reported.
The acting minister lauded related organs for continuation of work on consolidation of the Buddha statues and emphasized for their further attention to the issue.
A meeting of the archeologists is expected to be held in Japan’s Tokyo from September 25 to October 2nd this year to discuss the way on how to reconstruct the Buddha Statues.
