Kabul (BNA) Armed rebels sustained heavy casualties during the recent clashes with Afghan security forces in the last 24 hours on Want-Waygel, Kamdish districts and outskirts of Paron city.
First clash that took place while armed insurgents crossed the Durand Line wanted to replace in Kamdish district, 7 insurgents have been killed last night, a senior border police commander in the east of the country said.
Another battle that occurred after armed insurgents’ raid on Afghan military convoys, 10 rebels were killed in Want-Waygel district.
It has been said, three weapons caches of armed rebels were also discovered and seized from different parts of the province.
