Kabul (BNA) The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, yesterday afternoon thanked Foreign Minister Mohammad Haneef Atmar and the Deputy Foreign Minister Mirwais Nab for their successful contribution to the holding of the 9th Heart of Asia Conference-Istanbul Process and the Geneva Conference for Afghanistan and awarded theme the state medals of Ghazi Amanullah Khan and Mir Masjedi Khan, a statement from the Presidential Office said
During a ceremony held on the occasion at the Presidential Palace, President Ghani’s decrees was first read by Fatemeh Morchal, Deputy Presidential Spokeswoman in which the president wished success to Mohammad Haneef Atmar and Mirwais Nab, after conferring them the Ghazi Amanullah Khan and Mir Masjedi Khan state medals, according to the statement. Foreign Minister Mohammad Haneef Atmar and the Ministry’s Deputy Political Minister Mirwais Nab expressed their gratitude to the president and pledged once again to serve the country and the people.
