Four Mine Planters Kill

Kabul (BNA) Four mine planters were killed in outskirts of Maidan-Wardak province yesterday.
National defense ministry press office said BNA, four mine planters who wanted to plant roadside mines in relevant areas of Chak district, Maidan-Wardak province, one of the mines exploded and killed them. 
According to another report: At least six people including five Taliban along with one of their leaders were killed and two others wounded during two separate conflicts in southern province of Maidan-Wardak yesterday.
A police official of that province said BNA, one armed rebel and another, cleaner of a vehicle were killed and three militants wounded during a skirmish triggered from a Taliban rebels’ attack on a security forces’ supply convoy in Sultan Khil area of Sayedabad district, governor spokesman said in a statement.
In Tangi area of Sayedabad and Badam and Tokrak areas of Narkh districts, four rebels including one of their leaders were killed and two other wounded, when the security forces launched a cleanup operation, said the spokesman assuring no civilians or troops suffered life or property losses.
But, in another incident five public order police were wounded when their vehicle overturned after they were returning to their headquarter from the battle-area in the district.
