Kabul (BNA) Twenty armed insurgents killed in a clearing operation carried out by Afghan security forces in different provinces of the country.
The Interior ministry press office said, the Afghan security forces during the last 24 hours launching cleansing operations in the relevant areas of Herat, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Khost and Paktia provinces killed 20 insurgents, wounded 12 and arrested 4 others.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized.
According to another report, the security police of Kabul arrested three persons accused of murder and drinking of alcoholic beverage from 10th and 11th precincts. T. Suraya-Yarzada
