JALALABAD CITY (BNA) Most parts of a district have been cleared from existence of armed oppositions during a military operation in eastern Nangarhar province.
The military operation has started 10 days ago by participation of hundreds Afghan security forces with cooperation of Afghan air forces in Sarkh Roud district of Nangarhar province.
Sylab army corps by sending a statement issued that the military operation have launched to annihilate anti-government militias and ensure security in Sarkh Roud district.
Most parts of Sarkh Roud district have been cleared from being of armed oppositions during the military operation, the statement added.
Until now, 17 terrorists were killed and dozens others were wounded during the operation, the source concluded.
