Thirteen Taliban Militants Killed In Helmand

Lashkargah (BNA) During the Afghan National Army’s operation thirteen Taliban militants were killed in Helmand province last night.
Col. Mohammad Rasoul Zazi in-charge of 215 Maiwand National Corps press office in Helmand told BNA, the operation was conducted by Afghan National Army forces in different parts of Shakar Shila region, Sangeen district of the province, in which 13 rebels including Mullah Sharif and Mullah Roki their two notorious commanders were killed and six other insurgents wounded.
The commanders has active role in organizing of several terrorist and destructive activities in the province, source added.
Zazi further added, there were no casualties among Afghan National Army troops following the operation.
