Kabul (BNA) Senate’s first deputy Mohammad Alam Ezedyar while hearing work report presented by head of Bakhtar Nes Agency (BNA), lauded the agency’s functions at the threshold of (May 3, International Press Day), BNA reported on Monday.
According to the agency, appreciating BNA staffs’ activities appreciating BNA staffs’ activities on reflection of domestic and foreign events, Ezedyar said, as a credible news source, BNA with long historical background enjoys special position among media outlets.
Afterward, head of BNA Abdul Khalil Menawi presented information about his agency’s routine activities and thanked Meshrano Jirga, its first deputy and national assembly for their support from press family. He also promised to firmly work in reflecting truths and daily events as it did in the past.
At the end Senate’s first deputy awarded BNA head and a number of journalists and reporters with appreciation letters and medals.
