MoIC’s Message On Moharram-al-Haram

Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture in a message about the Moharram-al-Haram the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussain, called it a great event in the Islamic history and expressed its deep condolence to the Muslim people of Afghanistan, the BNA reported Sunday.
The message said the Ashura was a great event in the Islamic world history, playing key role in rebuilding the Islamic values and believes, the agency said. The ministry of information and culture shared grieves and mourning with those stayed mourning on the occasion of the event, and called it an uprising of the Imam (PBUH) against cruelty and injustice, the skirt of which had been expanded by Yazid, the damned.
The clear message of Ashura is a vision of standing and devotion against those false religious advocates wanted to misuse Islam to build many bloody Karbalas, such as in Kunduz, Helmand, Faryab, Urozgan, Baghlan, and other areas of the country, the agency said as quoting the message.
Imam Hussain (PBUH) wanted to stand against all these cruelties to put an end to all these injustices, by misusing the name of the Muslims, said the agency adding, “If yesterday, Imam Hussain along with his 72 colleagues have been martyred by Yazid, today, everywhere, Yazidis of our own era are killing and destroying every day.”
Marking the day is, in fact, renewal of commitment to the Karbala and Afghanistan’s martyrs,” said the message continuing the desires of the martyrs’ were contrary to corruption, torture, unemployment, bureaucracy, injustice, misusing public property, fleeing the law, attention to self-welfare and distancing the people.
The ministry, to conclude with, asked the youths for donating blood to the war victims, particularly the military troops of the country, when attending the mourning ceremonies, the message said.
