Kabul (BNA) Following a peaceful protest by the residents of Ghor province, the country’s president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani assured them of doing his best to meet their demands, a statement from the Presidential Palace said Thursday.
“In the light the demand of the Ghor residents relating to their peaceful protest to the 1399 fiscal year budget, the country’s presidents tasked an authorized delegation to visit the province and closely discuss the issue with the people,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the country’s president in personal, would hold a video conference with the protesters’ representatives and hear directly their demands and suggestions, after the results of the delegation visit to the province.
