Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) At least two Taliban insurgents were killed and two others wounded due to Afghan military operation under the code name Naweed “23” in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Operative director of Sar-e-Pul told BNA, the operation was launched in different parts of Qarakhawal region, Sayad district of the province.
According to source, their dead bodies with their weapons were remained at the battlefield.
Meanwhile, few days ago security officials reported from killing and wounding of 30 armed oppositions in relevant areas of the province.
It is mentionable that the Naweed “23” military operation continuing until the district completely cleared from existence of armed rebels.
