7 Taliban Killed

Kabul (BNA) Press sources of interior ministry said, seven armed Taliban were killed during a clash by Afghan security forces.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the Afghan Security Forces conducted 12 operations in the outskirts of Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Takhar, Maidan-Wardk, Logar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Helmand and Nimrooz provinces as a result of which, 7 armed Taliban were killed, 5 others arrested.
During these operations, 300 kg of explosives, 5 anti-vehicle mines, 20 kg of explosives with quantity of heavy and light weapons were seized.
According to another report, four mines were placed by insurgents in the relevant areas of Nangarhar, Laghman Parwan and Herat provinces were discovered and defused by police.
