Kabul (BNA) As per the demands of the ministry from UNESCO pertaining to registration of Herat City in the list of UNESCO World Heritage, the organization has time and again suggested to us that in case infiltration into the environment of ancient monuments and construction of different buildings with Herati masonry styles are not stopped UNESCO will not register the city in its World Heritage list.
It is reported that Herat Bara have been targeted by some robbers and part of them have been destructed and the ministry urges the local authorities of the province to prevent such acts and perpetrators should be legally dealt with.
