Kabul (BNA) Armed Taliban sustained heavy casualties during the clashes with Afghan security forces in the past 24 hours in some parts of Khas, Chahar-Chino, Dehrawood districts and Trinkot city of Urozgan province.
The first battles took place while armed insurgents attacked on Afghan military convoys, in which 8 armed insurgents were killed, a local police commander of Urozgan told BNA.
He added, at least 6 armed insurgents have been killed in another clash with Afghan security forces on Dehrawood district.
According to another report, armed rebels attacked on police security post of Trinkot city capital of Urozgan in which 3 armed insurgents were killed.
Also in separate clashes in some parts of Urozgan 8 insurgent have been killed and a number of them were wounded.
