Maimana (BNA) 33 armed Taliban were killed and 14 others have been injured in a series of afghan security forces raids in Faryab province.
The Taliban were targeted last night on Garzewan and Belcheragh Districts on their strongholds while a series of terrorist activities.
ANA top commander of Faryab told BNA, in the raids, 33 Taliban insurgents were killed and 14 others have been wounded.
Eight foreign insurgents were also among the killed and wounded.
ANA commander said, the insurgents were gathered in the two mentioned districts for organizing a series of terrorist attack on civilians, were targeted by security forces.
According to reports, two strongholds of the Taliban with all war equipment have been demolished.
