Kabul (BNA) Three senior Taliban commanders, along with 160 of their associates, have surrendered to First Vice President. Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostom in Faryab province.
Mullah Perum, Mohammad Rasoul and Amin Baig, three Taliban commanders by launching terrorist acts in Ghormach, Almar and Qaisar were considered as the biggest reason of insecurity in Faryab province.
Meanwhile, military officials in Faryab and Sar-e-Pul provinces say military operations are going on in the respective province until rooting out of all terrorists sustaining heavy casualties in the operations so far.
