Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Eight armed Taliban were killed in Balkh province yesterday.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee Shaheen 209 army corps spokesman told BNA the Taliban were killed by Afghan Security Forces air strike in Aqtapa village, Charboldak district and Alamkhail region of Balkh province.
Fifteen other Taliban were injured in the events, he added.
A policeman was also injured in the clash, said Rezaee.
