Kandahar (BNA) Four armed rebels were killed during military operation led by Afghan security forces in southern Kandahar province.
Col. Mohammad Muhssan Sultani spokesman of 205 Atal National Corps said BNA, the operation was conducted in Nawabad region, Maiwand district and Garlanki and Karez regions, Shah Wali Koot district of the province, as a result four armed oppositions were killed and seven round of anti-vehicle mines have been discovered and neutralized.
The militants by using the mines wanted to carry out a series of bloodiest incidents, which before reaching to their goal discovered and defused by Afghan security forces.
