MAIMANA CITY (BNA) As many as 16 armed oppositions including two local commanders of Taliban were killed by Afghan security forces in northern Faryab province.
The insurgents have been targeted within the last 24 hours in Garziwan district and Maimana city the provincial capital of the province.
Top commander of Afghan national army in 209 Shaheen army corps told BNA reporter, 16 anti-government paramilitaries were including their two local commanders were killed.
It has been said, there were no casualties on parts of civilians and Afghan security forces at the end of the attacks.
