Farah (BNA) armed Taliban wanted to carry out massive attack on security checkpoints of Poshtroad district, Farah province were faced with sever resistances of ANSF in which 18 insurgents lost their lives.
Abdul Raof Amani press in charge of Zafar army corps told BNA, in the attack five other insurgents were injured and their 3 motorcycles and a vehicle have been destroyed.
The source added, an ANSF was also martyred and 3 others were injured in the attack.
The operation continues in the mentioned district till elimination of insurgents.
