Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) The security personnel of Balkh province reported from beginning of ‘Naweed 20’ Operation in that province.
Sher Jan Dorani spokesman of Balkh security directorate told BNA, the operation started by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) aimed to clear Chamtal district from being of armed Taliban.
Dorani added the operation started with leadership of Balkh police chief and will be continued till annihilation of armed insurgents in the mentioned district.
