KABUL(BNA): During a meeting with the Turkmenistan Ambassador, the head of the National Standards Authority stated that the trend of importing quality goods from Turkmenistan is on the rise.
The Office of the National Standards Authority has released a statement confirming a meeting between Mullah Feizullah Tamim, the head of the authority, and Khawaja Awadov, the Turkmenistan Ambassador to Kabul.
During this meeting, both sides discussed facilitating the import of petroleum and liquefied gas into the country.
The head of the National Standards Authority stressed bilateral relationship enhancement, noting the improving trend of importing quality goods from Turkmenistan to the country. He expressed hope for resolving the remaining minor issues in non-standard goods importation.
The Turkmenistan Ambassador also expressed appreciation for the activities of the National Standards Authority and highlighted the cooperation between his country’s standards authority and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
