IEA Foreign Ministry, Summoned Pakistan Ambassador to Kabul

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan today summoned Mansoor Ahmad Khan the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kabul.

Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, while Alhaj Mullah Shireen Akhund, the Deputy Minister of Defense, has present, condemned the recent Pakistani airstrikes on some parts of Khost and Kunar provinces and strongly called for the recurrence of such attacks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that all military aggression, including in Khost and Kunar, should be prohibited or the repetition of such events darkens relations between the two neighboring countries, and malicious and biased circles of both countries take advantage of such a tense situation.

Recently, a letter of protest has been handed over to the Pakistani ambassador by the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be forwarded to high-ranking officials of Pakistan.
