Air-Ground Raids Leaves 10 Insurgents Dead

Kabul (BNA) As many as 10 Taliban fighters lost their lives following air and group attacks conducted by Afghan security forces in northern Faryab province.
Col. Nasratullah Jamshidi deputy directorate of 209 Shaheen army corps press said BNA reporter, the raids carried out by Afghan security forces in various parts of Aab Garmak region, Ghormach district of Faryab, as a result 10 rebels were killed and 15 others were wounded.
According to another report, five anti-government militias were killed following military operations led by Afghan National Army in different parts of Dawlat Abad, Sharin Tagab and Khawaja Sabz Posh districts of Faryab province.
In addition, seven militants including their top commander named Fairoz were injured during the operations, Jamshidi added.
Two Afghan military officer were wounded and there is no damages on civilians following the military activities, Jamshidi concluded.
